Always remember to clear your browser cache after installing an Update Rollup (UR)

I recently read a post on the MSCRM Team Blog about remembering to clear your cache after installing a Rollup on your machine. Remember there are multiple kinds of Rollups – a couple for designated servers, and one for the Client. When you install your Client Rollup, you have to remember to clear out the cache in order to avoid getting script errors on your machine.

Follow these steps below:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click “Internet Options”
  3. On the “General” tab, under “Browsing history,” click “Delete…”
  4. Check “Temporary Internet Files,” “Cookies” and “History”
  5. Click “Delete”
  6. Restart your IE browser
